We have a lot of wonderful wildlife visiting our garden at all times of year. The summer months are particularly good when the nights are so light and the weather is calmer. This year has been very warm for a couple of months and the wildlife has been thriving
Our garden provides cover for birds around our feeders. The mammals who visit have access points around the fences, Their tracks can be seen crossing the grassed areas in all directions. They also get regular "peanut treats" as both the badgers and pine martens like them.
This year we have been really pleased to see at least one family of pine martens coming regularly to our feeding station. Like all young creatures, they are a joy to watch. This family was caught on our trail camera as they were heading up the hill for some more hunting.
